In September, 2003, I was placed in Focus House by Judge Kauffmann and I was not happy. When May, 2005, came along, I was super happy as I was released and graduated from high school. I look at all the things I've learned in Focus House, the different things I got to do that a lot of people cannot do, and I am now truly grateful for Focus House. I do nothing but brag about being placed in as it is a wonderful place for youth to be with many privileges and blessings. Focus House is strict but worthy! Very good residential place for youth.

I've seen and witnessed the greatness of the Focus House program. My son was placed there in 2007 and when he was released from the program, he was a different kid. He's completely turned his life around, thanks to the Focus House program and staff.

As the Juvenile Court Judge in Ogle County, I am grateful to have Focus House as a resource in our local community when a child needs residential placement. The programs available through Focus House provide court-involved youth many opportunities to positively redirect their lives. When I place a child at Focus House through the juvenile court system, I am assured that they and their families will be well-served by a professional and caring staff.
