The Foundation For Focus House is a not-for-profit, IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt corporation organized as a method of providing long-term, self-sustaining financial assistance to enhance, enrich and supplement the Focus House program beyond the limits of its normal financial support.

The creation of the Foundation was recommended by the Focus House long-range planning committee in 2004 and the Foundation was officially established in February 2005. The Foundation For Focus House exists to receive and administer contributions, gifts, memorials, and bequests for the exclusive purpose of enhancing Focus House's long-term goals for its youth. The Foundation also allows Focus House to apply for grants and participate in forms of fundraising not otherwise available to Focus House. In short, the Foundation is vital to the future of Focus House, which is recognized as one of the most effective and respected shelter-care programs for adjudicated youths in Illinois, and in the United States.
